They produce a decorative effect, due to a very thin film of metallic oxides that is left on the piece after the firing. The above-mentioned effect includes sheen, transparent delicate colors with high reflex produced for reflection/diffraction or light interference. Some of the lusters that we offer contain precious metals, which embellish still more the final effect.
The lusters are sensitive to the powder, for what they have to of all the reasonable precautions taking to support so much the articles to decorating like to the, free lusters themselves of powder. If the powder settles on a still humid cap of gloss, they might produce faults.
The generic classification, on which we comment hereinafter, is the following one:
Hydrophilic :
(LH-8XXX)This type of lusters can be applied by brushing, spraying and even for dipping. Every application techniques needs a specific product elaborated with a narrow tolerance of controlled viscosity, concentration of resins, speed of drying, and so on. All these properties of application are of importance in the obtaining of decorative effects of maximum quality.
This type of lusters is of relative high speed of drying, which can hasten still by means of soft heat.
The hydrophilic liquid lusters are supplied ready for use and usually they do not need to be diluted. However, if it is necessary, it is recommended to use the hydrophilic thinner DD-06/F, which apart from be optimized for this type of luster, is ultra-filtered to avoid troubles caused by dust, debris and other dirtiness frequently found in commercial products. The thinner also must be used to restore the consistency/ concentration of products affected by evaporation.
These lusters are soluble in water, therefore all the utensils used in the manufacture are cleaned easily with water.
LUSTERS IN PASTE:
The hydrophilic lusters for the direct screen-printing are the result of intense studies on the part of our personnel of R & D, that has obtained the last ones and more advanced decorative effects, with a great facility of use; without neglecting health and safety of the user and of the environment.
As for the effects they provide a maximum reflection, metallic reflexes with a wide scale of colors/tones.
It is a product of sure manipulation with oxygenated solvents, not toxic, not harmful. Without bad smells that they avoid this way, the load of the working place. They do not contain lead or cadmium. They are not inflammable.
Besides they are ecological, with biodegradable ingredients, non-toxic neither for the flora nor for the fauna.
